Where to hike

Arkansas is home of many incredible hiking locations. In this blog I want to hit on a few of these that are definitely essential to hike if you are in Arkansas.

Pinnacle mountain state park is located just 5-10 minutes outside of the city of little rock so it’s a great place to get outside and in the wilderness if you live close to the city. Pinnacle mountain offers two hiking paths that lead to the top of the mountain, an easy route and a more extreme route. The park also consists of recreational park equipment for children, creeks to dip your feet in, and camping sites if you want to stay overnight.

The buffalo river trail is another amazing place to hike within Arkansas. This trail totals 36 miles if you dear hike the entire thing. It is a great place for those more experienced hikers that desire a challenge. This trail offers campsites along the 36 mile trail, places to rent and paddle canoes down the river, and take a dip in the water. The buffalo river trail also offers  park facilities within the 36 mile range including showers and bathrooms.
If you want to hike within Arkansas, check out other hiking trails like wooly hollow, petit jean,  the ozark mountains, and the seven hollows trail. Get out and enjoy the wilderness today!
